Keep your own card meanings, compare them across every deck you own, and log your readings.
One page for every card. Keep quotes from your sources, and set up the fields you actually use.
The Other Decks view puts the same card from every deck you own side by side, with room for a note on each.
Learn one system, read any deck.
Write down how two similar cards differ for you, and find that note again from either card.
Every reading in your journal links back to its cards, so you can trace how your interpretations change over time.
Digitize your whole shelf and pull up any deck whenever you want it.
Estimating some time in December.
Rider-Waite-Smith is the default and comes with public domain card images. You can also choose Tarot de Marseille, which loads public domain images too, or Thoth, where you upload photos of your own deck.
No. Nothing here writes, suggests or interprets for you. Every word in your notebook is yours.
Nope. There's no digital shuffle, no mystical algorithm for fortune telling. This is your study notebook. The closest it gets is the Random Card button up top, which picks a card for you to study. You can use it for your daily draw. You write your own notes and interpretations. Everything in your notebook comes from you.
It will be free. This is my passion project. I'll leave a tip jar if you find the site helpful with your practice.
Only you can see your notes and the deck images you upload. Every note is private, encrypted while it travels and while it is stored. I don't read your notes.
Yes. Upload photos or scans of your own decks. Your uploads are visible only to you and are never shared or shown to anyone else. Please only upload decks you own or have the right to use.
Yes. You can download all your notes as Markdown files, which open in Obsidian, Notion or any text editor. You are not trapped here.
Unfortunately no. You have to start fresh, card by card. If this is a popular need, I'll look into creating a template for import.
No. It's tarot only.
There's no built-in sharing. You could share a screenshot!
I started studying tarot a few months ago and kept my notes in Obsidian. But tarot study is so visual that I started putting my notes and the card images from different decks in PowerPoint. The file grew quickly. There were two slides for every card and it became hard to navigate. I sketched out a webpage of how I would like to navigate my notes and compare cards. And that's how the website started.
